About MAC·LA

From Levitt LA to MAC·LA

After 18 years as Levitt LA, we are proud to introduce MAC·LA. This evolution honors our deep roots in MacArthur Park while expanding our reach across the city. While our name is changing, our heart remains the same: providing free, high-quality cultural programming that reflects the vibrant spirit of our community.

We honor the long-term support of the Levitt Family Foundation and the Indigenous Tongva and Kizh land we call home. MAC·LA is more than a name change — it is an expansion. By focusing on Music, Arts, and Community, we are expanding beyond the summer stage to offer year-round career pathways and creative activations across the Los Angeles landscape.

As our city prepares for the global spotlight over the next three years, MAC·LA stands ready to showcase the brilliance, healing, and unity of our neighborhoods. We are ensuring that L.A.’s creative economy remains accessible to all as our city transitions into a premier global destination.
